Durante la cerimonia alcuni hanno protestato contro i divieti del presidente degli Stati Uniti Donald Trump sull’immigrazione: l’attore Simon Helberg aveva un foglio con scritto “Refugees Welcome” (benvenuti rifugiati) e l’attrice Jocelyn Towne si era scritta sul petto “Let them in” (lasciateli entrare) inoltre quasi tutti i discorsi sono stati incentrati sull’attuale situazione americana.
Ultima nota per Orange is the new black, la serie di Netflix a tema lesbo che anche quest’anno, per il terzo anno di fila, si è aggiudicato il premio “best cast in a comodey series” complimenti ragazze!
